So my husband and I made our first visit today since I wanted some PR food and I didn't want to cook. Our waitress I believe her name was Michelle was great, the food was delicious it reminded me of my grandma's cooking. My husband got the pollo frito/fry chicken and it was bomb, tasted just like mine, and I got the pollo guisado and it was on point - my only problem was biting into pieces of bones and removing them after which was annoying. Although I despise frozen platanos & tostones (green platanis) - I really wanted some and to my surprise they weren't bad at all. Service was good, music playing was classic borciua salsa, food was bomb so no complaints BUT that the flans were tiny as hell! So good but yet too small!

A suggestion to the business: they should do sizes for the rice and beans amount; 1 cup of rice (small) or 2 cups of rice/ 2 cups of beans being a large because my husband went through his rice and beans like no one's business. I'll come back again when I don't feel like cooking :)

This place is LEGIT Boricua! I haven't had Mofongo this good since I left the EastCoast...I had the Churrasco(skirt steak with onion and chimichurri sauce) and the mofongo(green plantains deep fried, pounded, mix with garlic and chicharrone). The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor.
The mofongo was garlicky good and I love the little bits of chicharrones.
For desert I had the Guava and cheese flan, it was a bit dry and the consistency was not what I'm use to with Filipino flan but it was still good and not as sweet as other Puerto Rican flan I've had. I wish I could have ordered the whole menu.
My waitress was great she was very attentive. They were playing salsa music(not too loud) which made me want to dance because my meal was so good.
I will defiantly good back for more.

When they say authentic Puerto Rican food, it is.  It makes mar feel like I was back home.  Any chance I get this is my go to spot.  Jasmine was our waitress and she is awesome.

So today I went for the fourth time and Idk who the cook was but the food was at its best so flavorful.  The baccaliato  however you spell it was so crispy usually I get to middle and it's mushy.

I have enjoyed this restaurant 2 times now and absolutely loved the food both times!

Both times I've ordered the Pernil, (roasted pork) Maduros (fried sweet bananas) and Arroz con Gandules (yellow rice with beans)

The pork is so freaking tender and full of garlic flavor! The rice is nice and fluffy (not to wet like some Spanish rice is) seasoned well and it has the beans and green olives in it too. The sweet fried bananas are a delicious treat at the start of the meal or at the end.

You have to get a side of the garlic dipping sauce to pour over the roasted pork. That right there adds such a great kick to the dish!

Also ordered the Yuca Fries. Kinda like a potato but not, if you're not familiar what Yuca is. Served like fries and it comes with the yummy garlic dipping sauce.

I have never tried Puerto Rican food before. But this place was suggested to me by a Puerto Rican friend.
    This place does not disappoint!
    The portions are huge. I
I had the bacalaito (in the appetizer section) as my protein while my husband had the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection!
Then we shared a side of mufongo and some Puerto Rican rice and we were both really full!
I was about to order two bacalaito but then the waiter was a sweetheart to warn me of how big it was. I was the thankful he told me so!

    I highly recommend!
